About Impactiviti

Impactiviti is a consultancy based on the most powerful force in business…recommendations.

Impactiviti provides something unique – free consulting with training clients on their needs, followed up by targeted recommendations (described below).

Here is how it works:

Step 1: We discuss together what your current and upcoming needs are. I bring a blank sheet of paper and a lot of industry knowledge, and we brainstorm. We blueprint your needs and possible solutions. For straightforward needs, we can just talk on the phone and you spell out what you’re looking for.  This process is actually quite enjoyable, and can lead to some very creative ideas.

Step 2: Impactiviti reaches out to best-in-class supplier(s) to help meet your business and training goals, and facilitates more detailed discussions to ensure that we’ve established an optimal “match”. Having a lot of experience with the vendor community and with the design and development of training projects, this step is part of the art and science of what Impactiviti uniquely offers. The goal is to make the client experience as pain-free as possible, by identifying well-targeted vendors (and avoiding choices that could compromise a successful initiative).

Step 3: The client and the vendor/supplier(s) agree on a proposed solution and budget, and move forward with the project, with much greater efficiency due to an intelligent design and sourcing process.

For training recommendations, Impactiviti is your Go-To Expert.

Most training professionals do not have the bandwidth (time and/or expertise) to sort through the myriad of potential training approaches and offerings available in the market. By serving as a trusted advisor that can bring a variety of well-targeted resources to the table, Impactiviti eliminates the stress and distraction of sorting through vendors when outsourcing training.

Impactiviti does not charge clients for the basic work of needs definition and supplier recommendations. We work on a referral fee basis with provider partners.

“Steve provides quite a service. There are so many training solution options out there that most times it is a chore to sift through it all to find the right fit. I sat across from Steve at our initial brainstorming conversation and benefited tremendously from his insights and expertise. He was able to help me map out some possible training solutions, and connect me with just the right service provider for my needs.” Tom Donlon, Manager, Sales Training and Development, Intendis, Inc.

The Impactiviti Training Network includes suppliers of custom and off-the-shelf training, e-learning development and delivery technology, simulation development, workshops for the whole range of audiences, assessment services, meeting/event/communications services, and more. Impactiviti only works with high-quality, proven, collaborative partners.

For select clients, Impactiviti also provides traditional fee-based consulting expertise for more extensive projects (technology consulting, RFP design, creative brainstorming, strategic consulting, on-call expertise as part of virtual team, etc.) upon request.
