Could low-dose Avandia be useful in preventing diabetes onset? This would be good news for GSK GlaxoSmithKline Plc’s Avandia helped prevent the onset of diabetes when taken at a low dose with another drug, according to a company-sponsored study that suggests the regimen may help patients without raising heart attack risk.
