There’s a fair bit of turmoil in the industry right now, with cutbacks, mergers/acquisitions, and the like. Which means that some people end up moving around to new career posts.
Many of you know that I quietly try to connect people and job openings “in the background,” as it were, since I inevitably end up learning about needs when networking so extensively. And I’m glad to help. But it comes to mind that I might be able to do better if I knew who some of the better recruiters were out there – those who have a specialty in pharma and perhaps a sub-specialty in sales training and/or brand management – to whom I could turn when trying to help people find or fill positions.
Here’s what I’d like to ask of you – if you are aware of one or more such recruiters (people with a very clear industry focus, AND who are solidly ethical and collaborative) – would you please forward me their names/companies? My goal is not to recruit, or to turn recruiters loose on you or your company. Quite the opposite, in fact. Seems to me that if there is a quiet and efficient way to bring awareness of open positions that recruiters know about, and let people needing to move on more easily find a “match,” then everyone wins.
